Active Ingrdient

Oligopeptide-41

Inhibits the activity of Dickkopf 1 (DKK-1) which is a pathogenic mediator related to pattern baldness. DKK-1 is also known as the “true hair follicle killer”. Oligopeptide-41 is the major ingredient to help prevent hair loss.

Decapeptide-19

Acts as an anti-inflammatory, soothing and calming agent. It also serves as an antihistamine and immune-suppressor to reduce itchiness and hence scratching by inhibiting the autoimmune response. It is effective in preventing psoriasis. Moreover, it functions as an inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor-5 (FGF-5), a substance that induces regression of the hair follicle and regulates hair growth. Decapeptide-19 antagonises FGF-5’s activity in living organisms and acts against hair loss.

Decapeptide-18

Stimulates the formation of primary hair placodes and generates new hair follicles by β-catenin and the sonic hedgehog (SHH) signal. SHH has an important role in the development and morphogenesis of hair follicles. Decapeptide-18 serves as an effective therapeutic agent in promotion of hair growth.

Octapeptide-2

Stimulates hair growth by increasing angiogenesis and facilitating the migration of stem cells. Octapeptide-2 also speeds up instant progeny to the base of follicles, differentiation, and extracellular matrix remodelling.

Nonapeptide-22

Boosts hair pigmentation by stimulation of melanogenesis, a complex process in which the pigment melanin is produced in melanosomes by melanocytes. The final product leads to a range of brown and black pigments that gives hair its healthy color.
